The first edition of the Paris Fringe took place during the last week of May 2016 in the 9th arrondissement. Over 20 English language shows including theatre, comedy, musicals and mime took over a corner of Paris for one week to entertain an international audience of locals and visitors. Free events, workshops and discussions completed the varied programme.

The festival features both international work and France-based companies with a focus on innovative approaches to theatre and an emphasis on contemporary themes. Alongside the shows are a variety of workshops, talks and events to provide artists and audiences with opportunities to interact and exchange ideas. English is the main language for performances and other activities.
Applications for our 2017 edition will open in Autumn 2016.
