Bleach (UK)
Daniel Ireland Reeves
Tyler Everett knows how to take it like a man; he’s made a career out of it. He’s rejected London’s corporate world in favour of screwing his way through the city each night.

Up to now he’s been doing pretty well for himself, enjoying a hedonistic life of men, sex and money. But on a fully-booked Saturday night, Tyler’s bubble's about to burst and he’ll discover the real cost of living in the worlds most exciting city.

Bleach is a darkly humorous, soul-jolting new one man show about sex, violence and city living. Direct from critically acclaimed runs in Dublin, Manchester, Edinburgh and Amsterdam, Bleach is sure to make your pulse race and your mind churn.

SOLO CREO EN EL FUEGO (ES)
Los Prometidos
I ONLY BELIEVE IN FIRE tackles the relationship between the French writer Anaïs Nin and the American novelist Henry Miller, through the letters they exchanged for more than twenty years, since the writers met in Paris in 1931 in a torrent of passion, bohemianism and literature, until the last missive, dated in the United States in 1953.

The piece is a game of mirrors in which the authors Carlos Martín-Peñasco and Ángela Palacios adapt to theater the correspondence and the writings of Nin and Miller to make them collapse with their own biographies, dreams and complexes. Art as a way of life, the dilemmas posed by vocation, creative censorship or autobiography and its consequences are some of the themes that spring from the love story of these two writers who sought to adapt themselves to a world in which they did not quite fit.

This is a delirious trip between literature and the metatheater in which the artists seem to have more questions than answers on their way to transcendence (or survival).

Love For Sale (CA)
Compagnie des Wanderers
Dr. Elizabeth Blake discovers her patient's Erotophobia (fear of sex) is inexplicably linked to the lives of several female prostitutes from the past and across the globe.

In a non-orthodox conference, Elizabeth takes us on an exploration of this unusual case using mask and music. Between the lines, a thinly veiled obsession with her patient begins progressively to emerge.
Part thesis, part psychological thriller, and part cabaret, Love for Sale explores the origins of our fears and the price of female sexuality with tenderness, humour, and Power Point.

Based on a true story.

AVANT-GARDE is a physical comedy show on the universal theme of war and struggle. It's an original mix of slapstick, clown-theatre and mime.

Two brothers and their two best friends are enrolled in the armed services and sent on a mission to find the enemy. Their diverse adventures force them to face themselves and each other.
Are they soldiers, heroes or clowns? What's the difference? Who cares? Are they funny? Do they know they are in a show? Are they stuck in their circumstances or free to do what they want?

Non verbal performance. Children friendly.

Granny Gertrude (FR)
Cie PAF Théâtre
Granny Gertrude had a long life and has many stories to tell. She might look weak but boy, she still has a good swing. Free and indenpendent, she made up her own rules : falling in love with powerful men, fighting like a true warrior. She made history as she survived the most horrifc events of the Xxth century. Or did she ? Her mind might be wandering nowadays, but is still sharp when her favorite TV show is on air.

La Compagnie des Xylophages

Based on improvisations inspired by Lewis Carroll's text, the company offers a new version of the tale, told with bits of cardboard and songs, moody animals and a very changing little girl. 8 comedians and a cello to plunge in a new world where you don't know the rules of the game anymore - and you might be excluded for that, or worse.
