The Paris Fringe is turning three and it's time to shake things up! But hey, don't fear! We'll still offer a mad mix of theatre, dance, comedy and live art by bringing together bold creators from near and far. For the 2018 edition, the Théâtre de Verre in Paris's 19th arrondissement is our home! Here, we'll keep building a strong theatre community and celebrate new, experimental and diverse works of heart. We asked for shows in English for our first two editions, but this time around, we're making it a mixed-language festival, all while ensuring accessiblity. We'll also be working with a new festival ticketing system to promise FRINGE-seekers a jubilant festival experience in which to exchange, explore and have a whole lotta fun. And one last thing! October is now our new FRINGE month because...well, why not! So we'll see you October 11th - 14th with our brand new edition of the PARIS FRINGE! Save the date and get in on it!
Over 10 days in May the Paris Fringe filled the 9th and 10th arrondissements with theatre, dance, comedy, magic, poetry, song and more.
Our main programme had over 20 different events ranging from full shows to workshopped readings. On top of that we had a Free Fringe - mini shows in strange places that are completely free to the public.
The festival made use of established theatres Les Feux de la Rampe and Théâtre Gymnase but we also had shows in a school, a restaurant, a library, a gallery and other unusual locations.
